Bulgaria allocates 56 million leva to support tourism

“We allocate 56 million leva to tourism to prevent the consequences of COVID-19.” This was stated by Prime Minister Boyko Borisov at a government meeting.

“With the help of 51 million leva, we will help free of charge almost 1,600 companies that operate in the field of tour operators and travel agencies,” said Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Tourism Mariana Nikolova.

The provisions of the Law on measures and actions during a state of emergency provide for the provision of funds to tour operators and travel agents in accordance with the regulation of the Minister of Tourism and in accordance with the rules of state aid.
